Information The lighthouse is located atop an 80‑foot (24‑meter) rocky outcropping which sits about 130 feet (40 meters) off the coast of the Sea of Swords. It is due west of Phandalin and just south of the Thunder Cliffs. During low tide, travelers can descend the 100‑foot (30‑meter) coastal cliffs overlooking the tower to a sandy beach and a narrow causeway which connects the tower to the shore. At low tide, a narrow causeway extends from the shore to this outcropping, allowing easy access to the lighthouse. This causeway is 5 feet above sea level at low tide. At high tide, the causeway and the sandy beach are submerged under 5 feet of water. The Tower of Storms consists of a squat, 20‑foot (6.1‑meter) tall stone building with a lighthouse rising another 20 ft (6.1 m) from the seaward side.
