Dan & Dragons began in 2023, when a group of friends in the Netherlands sat down to play their very first game of Dungeons & Dragons — and decided to hit the record button just so they could listen back to their own chaos later

What started as a private joke quickly turned into a passion project. Their Dungeon Master, DMDan (aka Daniel), loved editing audio, building websites, and bringing creative worlds to life… so “just for fun” became something much bigger. And so, Dan & Dragons was born.

From the very beginning, the adventuring party consisted of:
Nikolett (the fearless lady of the group),
Jeroen,
Bram, and
Maikel — a band of absolute characters both in- and out-of-game.

In the summer of 2025, Paul joined the table, forming the five-player party that kicks off Season 3. With one DM and five wildly different personalities, chaos is guaranteed.

Dan & Dragons isn’t polished, censored, or “family-friendly.” It’s raw, funny, explicit, and full of things we probably shouldn’t say — but definitely do.

We play because we love it, we laugh because we can’t help it, and we record it so others can join the adventure with us. No filters, no scripts, no corporate gloss.
