Delete your account
Dan & Dragons Companion, by DanSimWorld (Daniel Christiani)
Last updated: 1 November 2026
You can delete your Dan & Dragons Companion account and its data at any time: in the app, or by email if you can't use the app. This page explains both, and what is deleted and what is kept.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the app and log in.
- On My campaigns, tap your account button (your initials) at the top right, then Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm it's you: enter your password, or choose your Google account again if you sign in with Google. Then tap Delete account (or Confirm with Google and delete).
Your account is deleted straight away, and the app logs you out. If you haven't verified your email address yet, or the app asks you to accept the terms of use, you'll find Delete account on that screen too.
Ask us by email
If you can't use the app (you've uninstalled it, or lost your phone), email info@dananddragons.com with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email address of your account, so we know the request comes from you. We delete the account within one month, usually within a few days, and reply when it's done.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently deletes:
- your account and profile (your email address and display name), and the device tokens for notifications;
- every campaign you are the DM of, with everything in it (characters, NPCs, maps, lore, the session journal and images), for all of its players;
- your characters, with their inventory, coins, private notes, hit points and portraits, in every campaign you play in;
- your session notes in every campaign, including campaigns you have left;
- your daily report count.
This can't be undone.
What is kept
- Campaigns you play in stay for the DM and the other players, without you and your character. Items and coins you gave to other players stay theirs.
- Reports you sent are kept until 1 year after you made them, without your user ID, so we can deal with abuse. The email we received about each report names you, and is kept in our mailbox for that year too.
- Server logs, which can contain your user ID and IP address, are deleted automatically after 30 days.
More about the data the app stores and how long it is kept is in our privacy policy. Questions: info@dananddragons.com.
